In honor of Mother's Day weekend
I would like to share a special moment from my beginnings of Folklorico! This was my first professional concert at the age of 13 years old with "Ballet Folklorico Tierra y Sol" (from Woodlake) and in collaboration with "Ballet Folklorico Cuica Calli" (from Los Angeles) who gave a cultural experience to the City of Porterville on May 26, 1985! I will deeply and utterly cherish this memory as it set the foundation of Folklorico in my mind, heart, and soul! To each of these dancer's who served as my big sister, brother, father figure, and especially as my FOLKLORICO MOM... I say, "THANK YOU" from the bottom of my heart & soul

Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin
Dance me through the panic till I'm gathered safely in
Lift me like an olive branch and be my homeward dove
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love
